What is Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) & what are the different types?

Active Noise Cancellation is an active, electronic method of reducing unwanted ambient sound that adds processed sound to your audio to reduce the perception of ambient noise.

Sound isolation is a passive, physical method of reducing external noise to reduce the ambient noise that enters through your headphones.

Activate ANC by pressing and holding the ANC button on the left ear cup.

There are three different ANC options available on your MW75 Neuro headphones.

  1. Adaptive ANC will automatically detect the noise levels around you and adjust the ANC level.
  2. Max ANC will use the maximum levels of noise-cancelling and works best for very loud environments (planes, trains, etc.).
  3. All Day ANC will cancel less environmental noise and is more suited for regular use throughout the day.
