  • What is the detachable boom microphone?

    Your MG20 Wireless Gaming Headphones come with a detachable boom microphone which is the preferred microphone and provides optimal talk quality.

    The boom microphone also comes with an optional foam cover to reduce pop sounds and protect the microphone.

     

    When detached, the internal microphones will automatically be enabled.

  • What is USB (Wired) audio, and how does it work?

    Your MG20 Wireless Gaming Headphones come with the ability to use Wired (passive) audio.

     

    Wired Audio (Analog)

    For wired audio, please use the provided USB-C to 3.5mm cable and plug it into your headphones' USB­-C audio input. Please note that your headphones are required to be powered ON prior to plugging the USB-C cable into the headphone for passive audio to work.

  • What are EQ settings & how can I change them?

    EQ (equalization) settings allow you to emphasize different frequencies according to personal preference.

     

    EQ settings will apply when playing content such as music, movies, etc. through either Bluetooth or from analog audio sources. EQ settings will not apply to phone calls, video calls, or other communications received or sent. 

     

    You can adjust the EQ settings on your MG20 headphones by connecting to the M&D Connect mobile app. Within the app, you can select EQ presets that best fit your preferences.

    NOTE: MG20 should be connected to your phone in the Bluetooth® menu settings prior to using the M&D Connect app. 

  • How do I pair my MG20 Wireless Gaming Headphones to more than one device?

    Your MG20 Wireless Gaming Headphones are multipoint capable, meaning they can connect to more than one device at a time.

    Note

    If two devices other than the Low-Latency Adapter are connected, the headphones will need to be put back into pairing mode in order to reconnect to the Low-Latency-Adapter.

    To enable multipoint 

    1. Enter pairing mode and connect to the first device
    2. Enter pairing mode again and the first device will disconnect, pair the headphones with the second device
    3. Power your headphones OFF
    4. When you power your headphones back ON they will automatically connect to the first and second devices simultaneously
    5. To switch between devices, pause playback on one device and play from the other - your headphones will switch automatically to the device with active audio
